I loaded up on Nadal in straight, so fingers crossed.

Also, Kyrgios lost in straight sets to a sub 100 ranked American, Mackenzie McDonald. 6-4, 6-4

Looks like everything going according to plan for Nadal. Probably picked up an easy 7 figure appearance fee and got in 3 warm up sets. If he accidentally wins this match he'll likely pull out with a "knee injury" before the 2nd round.

Our thread titleist has shipped his 2nd tournament of the year and first 500 level title. New career high ranking of #15, and he's #10 in the race ranking. Very realistic shot at making the WTF. Tough draw in Toronto though, he gets #1 seed Medvedev R3.

Nadal gets a rematch with Harris R2. Bottom half looking much softer than the top half.

The Toronto M1000 starts today.

Sinner has a bye, but if he wins his first match he's lined up to play Medvedev (who is the top seed) second.

In looking at the draw, this one feels pretty wide open.

Sasha Bubbles up a set on Medvedev. Would be huge for Sinner if he could play a guy he's 2-0 against instead of a guy he's 0-2 against.

I picked Shapovalov to win this title. Also picked Muguruza to win the women's and she's already out because ****ing women's tennis.

Opelka at a career high #23, now the highest ranked american, assuming Isner loses tonight.

Giorgi in the final tomorrow.

She's beaten Pliskova twice this year, at eastbourne and olympics.
