Losing the set by getting broke again sort of spells doom.

Dang, Thiem. gj;ge I guess.

GJGE Thiem.

Taking a set of him is about as good as it gets.

Gotta feel bad for Thiem. He's like a clay Andy Murray. But for Nadal he could have a couple French Opens. If he's lucky, he will bink one when Nadal retires.

Thiem played extremely well and it won't be reflected in the final score. NADAL GOAT.

Blatantly obvious Thiem could have won if he wasn't physically and mentally exhausted due to the ****ery of Djokovic and the RG organizers

When you take into account that Nadal hogs the French most years, it's amazing that Fed and Novak have so many GS titles. With only 3 a year open it's pretty impressive they have as many as they do.

I'dve thought it was more amazing that Nadal has so many GS titles given Fed and Novak hog the other 3 tbh :P

Being unbeatable on 1/3 of the surfaces but only getting to dominate 1/4 of the Grand Slams is pretty unlucky if you ask me.

It's a matter of degree, though. Nadal is way more unbeatable on clay than those two (or anyone else) are on any other surface.

Yeah. He definitely got screwed by the scheduling. Not sure if he beats Nadal with an extra day, but I'm sure it would have been a lot more competitive.

Well, yea that's what I'm saying, Nadal being so unbeatable is an amazing for Nadal thing not an amazing for Fed and Djok thing :P

Poor Thiem lol. This time 3 years ago Nadal withdrew injured from the French Open and looked basically career over. Since then Thiem has gone SF F F at RG losing to Nadal all 3 and beating Djok twice. It'll be a travesty if he never gets one

They should sprinkle Rafa's ashes over Philippe Chatrier when he dies

If they cloned him enough times they could play every final on a court of his ashes.

He will. He'll just have to wait until he's 29 or something.

Thiem should defo get one, he’s just going to have to wait until Rafa retires or gets injured like Fed/Novak had too.

Can't believe Toronto didn't call a timeout to make a play in that final possession. So lame. Arguably.

Djokovic makes more in endorsements than Rafa and serena. Bloody hell. How is that possible?

Who wants him marketing their stuff

That's super weird.

I knew Kei Nishikori made a ton on endorsements, but had no idea Novak made THAT much.
