Losing too two tie breakers against Novak isn't that bad at this stage of his career but come on man way to throw the match.

The sequential wins over Zverev were 6-1, 6-2; over Thiem was 6-4, 6-1; and Novak 7-5, 6-4.

6 straight sets over top opponents.

You keep saying that but I don't know why. He beat Rafa on clay this year, made the finals of the French Open, he also made the semis of the French in 2016 and 2017.

I mean, I get he doesn't have a huge trophy case, but he's not like a complete fraud or something.

Nadal won 3, Novak won 2, with Isner, Delpo, Zverev, and Khachanov willing the remaining 4.

So big three (big 2 really since Fed won zero) got 5, other old timers for 2 more, and young guns got 2.

I had some on Djokovic too. It's just that seeing that +1200 was too good to pass up. I do think Djokovic would have beat him if he hadn't had 2 three set matches prior.

ATP/WTA 2019: The End of an Era

5 players in the top 20 are going to start 2019 at 22 years old or younger (Zverev, Khachanov, Coric, Tsitsipas, Medvedev). That excludes youngsters on the outside like Shopalov, de Minaur, and Chung who are also 22 or younger.
