For a guy that's been around #5 for years now, I feel like he should've appeared in more finals of big events.

I realize that cracking the big 4 in this era (particularly 2008-2012) is extremely difficult but he's only made one GS final and I believe he's only won one 1000 Masters event. For a guy ranked #5 I would expect him to fluke more finals or wins than he has. I understand that he has tons of GS SFs and Masters runner ups but I just expect more success from a guy who has been near the top for so long.

I suppose this may be more of a statement as to how big of a gap there is between guys like him & Ferrer compared to the "big 4".

I only saw the last few games but can only guess Maria made 800 errors to lose. Flavia been ehhh all year and she was basically moon balling the small sample I saw.

lollllll grigor DFs twice in a row at 5-6 in the 3rd to give boredo 2 MPs. Boredo then plays a great point and finishes the match with a sweet drop volley winner.

Robredo vs Dimitrov, Grigor serving down 5-6 in the third set. It's 15-15 and he double faults twice in a row to make it 15-40. Next point gets to a rally and Robredo wins it, gg Dimitrov.

Something about a pulled muscle but she looks fine. Her first serve, man the % makes me cringe at times, makes life so hard on herself for closing out sets.

Genie stick slam after going down 6-5* in the 3rd. She was fortunate to win the 1st set after Tsurenko rolled her ankle. Down 3-0 in the 2nd set, battled back to serve for the match only to get broken at love and eventually lose the set. She was crying in her towel waiting in her chair for the start of the 3rd set in a mix of emotions and injury since she apparently pulled a stomach muscle a handful of games earlier. Races out to a 3-0 lead, creeps to 4-1 and then oops 4-4 but returning 40-0* and finds a way to lose the match in the decider 6-4. Tossed in a DF to give her opponent match point for good measure. Tough to watch.

Gotta love Genie Bouchard, still think she needs a stronger mental game to compete with the very best though (i.e win a Grand Slam). Interesting article I found on Bouchard's Wimbledon Chances

I agree about Monfils, he certainly is physically one of the best on tour but again mental composure seems to be an issue.
