A 33 year old Federer seems to push a near peak Djokovic to the brink and even has the upperhand this year. I remember when Djokovic was playing untouchable tennis in 2011 and Federer beat him at the French open. I also remember a Federer with mono took Nadal to the brink at 2008 wimbledon final when he was down 2 sets to love and losing to guys like Mardy Fish that year. Considering his talent, his fighting abilities and his subsequent showing against these guys past his prime, I don't think Federer would've had any problems beating anyone in history at wimbledon and US open during his prime. This weak era nonsense is ridiculous. Federer won 14 of his 17 grandslams after Nadal won his first.

Pretty annoyed that my trip to London got postponed and I missed going, but maybe next year or Wimbledon.
