There is certainly some good genealogy work in the Bible, I'll give it that.

I picked the Bible in the desert island draft and love the pick. It's a work of art in its uses other than reading. You could set it in the fireplace while you revel in your other 6 pieces, having warmth and light for days. Then when it burns out, you no longer possess that worthless piece of ****.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Rock the microphone
Straight from the top of my dome
Freestyler
Rock the microphone
Carry on with the freestyler
I got to throw on and go on
You know I got to flow on
Selectors on ya, radio play us
'cause we're friendly for ozone
But that's not all so hold on tight
As I rock the mic right
Oh, excuse me, pardon
As I synchronise with the analysed
Upcomin' vibes, the session
Let there be a lesson, question
You carry protection
Or will your heart go on
Like Celine Dion ?
Karma Chameleon

I would take any work by Tracey Emin over the first two picks and feel really good about it.

Bible is fine. Nature of it as a pseudo historical document makes it sort of a questionable pick in a true art draft.

Should have just picked epipen's avatar. Osama saying, "Lakers three-peat, I bet my life on it" is flat-out funny.

OP doesn't say anything about "greatness" or "influential" for evaluation.

Are we trying to convince aliens that we're awesome or just to give them essentially a time capsule record of who we are, for better or worse?

I am leaning toward the latter. If the aliens truly understand context, I think they'll be rather unimpressed by a species trying to appear "better" than what humans really are.
