i do too. he wouldnt be running the point, as he had to for most of his career, but more of a spot up shooter (this would be for most called plays imo) think ray allen in boston. but also, you have a guy who can make his own shot on whoever is guarding him.

i guess i answered this above. also, my 2 undrafted starters, or players like them should my top choices be taken, will also show how iverson will fit with this team.

Isiah was one of the 5 guys I considered when taking Nique. I'm fully prepared for the stat heads to hate the pick, but I like it.

The guy was toughness personified. And absolutely a leader. Quick, and a sonofabitch on the court, I think he's a guy I'd want on a team.

Career shooting % really hurts him, admittedly, but when you've got Isiah you've got a guy that's going to galvanize a team and get the most out of it that he can. You look at those bad boy Pistons teams and it's not like they were loaded with talent. They had a lot of above average role players and Isiah. And they beat Jordan, Bird, Drexler, Magic. And Isiah was reasons 1 and 1a.

Excellent clutch player too.

statheads like isiah just fine. for about 3 years. isaih just had a redic short peak and career and that sort of drawback is magnified in this draft.

Trade to announce:

Assani Fisher gets: #65, #86, #111

AeJones gets: #55, #92, #130

If the guys Assani Fisher wanted to pick gets taken before #65, then AEJones owes Assani Fisher 2 Chipotle burritos.

if anyone online has spreadsheet access, can you write in that trade with the color coding and fill in the last few picks? Thanks.

Yeah I like the fit a lot, but I don't like the value. I think you should've gone with a great role player at SF or PF and then tried for AI in the 4th round. But fit-wise, its perfect in every way(except for maybe that Kidd couldn't hit 3s until later in career).

Before Blake Griffin was Blake Griffin, there was a version of him that could actually play defense!...
Spoiler:

Possibly the dumbest player in the history of professional basketball (that's saying something), Shawn Kemp. Luckily, his IQ didn't get in the way of him having a tremendous NBA career. Kemp enjoyed a 14 year career (averaging 75 games a year) and played 30,000 minutes (at least 3/4 of them before he got fat). He also made 6 straight All-Star games from '93-'98.

During his prime, his PER was over 20 (career 19.1, weighed down by 3 bad years at the end). He was a ~18/10/2/1 during those years, and widely considered a positive defender. Tenacious, explosive, strong, durable-- Kemp was a man amongst boys during the mid-90s. Here's a highlight reel to prove it.

Kemp will be an explosive open court threat and a powerful, efficient third option on my team. We'll be able to play uptempo or slow it down. I also think Kemp will be a good weakside shotblocker to help whoever I get to guard the elite centers in this league.

PG - Oscar Robertson
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Shawn Kemp
