How do you explain baseball to someone when an umpire is consistently calling pitches strikes that are a foot off the plate?

Yea, I just didn't want to be all "zomg umps terrible and cheating!!!111" etc. Was the only thing I could come up with, but after watching Granderson's second ab I think the ump is just having a terrible night.

Haven't you heard the announcers explain it? You have to know which side of the plate the ump is going to call incorrectly and exploit it

yes suzyn waldman is sterling's partner. she's the color guy.

some of the YES analysts are better than sterling, but like k-a-r.a.k said, sterling really isn't too bad sometimes. michael kay and suzyn waldman are the, to borrow a poker term, nut ****ing worst
