Impressive to have an argument where both sides are wrong. The difference between the two plays is that one is a fumble and one is a backward pass and there are different rules for the two things. The beanbag had nothing to do with allowing the recovery.

Hey buddy , watch an nfl game once in a while... an incomplete pass can be reviewed and changed to a fumble , not in that case with lateral rules involved, but when the qbs arm is hit and it is ruled incomplete it can be changed to a fumble.
