As far as the rule - since Perriera is backing it up - I'm assuming there is some rule that treats an incomplete pass ruling different than say a fumble where the player is called down. Because we know damn well those can be overturned. Does anyone know the official rule on this?

But we know this isn't true either. If ben had ben hit and the ball came out and it was ruled a forward pass and the whistle blew. That still would have been challenged and overturned assuming there was immediate recovery. It has to be some dumb rule specific to a backwards pass.
