Regarding Brazil, they still had the second best odds to win WC10 and are favourites to win WC14.

Obviously their status for the next tournament is greatly helped by the fact that they are hosts, but they would still be one of the top 3-4 favourites if it were somewhere neutral.

It goes to show you how high their floor is. The last few years have pretty much been an anti-golden generation and they are still one of the best teams in the world.

As of now I'll lay Brazil all over the place in 2014.

lol, it's not even close to the "cold night in stoke" meme. But since you generally like to speak in memes and bring absolutely nothing to a discussion other than you fapping to the thought of yourself: you tell me how the defenses he goes up against in brazil as good as the ones he would face in either italy or spain? And to get back to the original point, how are the defenses that neymar goes up against not as tough as a very defensive league like hazard went up against in Ligue1?

you've brought nothing to counter the argument other than saying I don't know what quality defending is and talking about neymar like he's a mythical creature

I'm a Neymar fanboi, but hazard absolutely destroyed a very defensive league and is every bit as dynamic as Neymar.

Edit: I remember Andre saying hazard was the best player he's EVER seen in the league.

I wish I had made lists much earlier obv. I'm curious where I would have ranked some of these. I might take a trip down memory lane some time once I get sick and must procrastinate from this current list crap.

Also Rooney seem to stick out negatively for a lot of people. I had actually forgotten what a polarizing player he could be. I guess especially after another mediocre England exit. Posters here, seem to have mostly rated him very well, apart from the post-Bayern injury crisis, and rightly so, but I get a feeling his rating, so to speak, the perception of him is sinking.

I even think he's slowing down with some of the off-the ball stuff that I used to give him huge credit for. At least it's not consistent over a season but on the ball I like him as much as ever. His excellent play behind, in and around, sometimes quite deep away from the striker contributions seems to be kinda forgotten by some and of course it's the kind of versatility that will help when compare him to others.

Overall I definitely do think he is there for taking in that number 5th spot but at the moment I can't really find the right argument for anyone.

Yeah, Gotze way too low but Lewa too high imo

I think El Sharaawy is the biggest jumper this year, also Fellaini, Michu, Mikhitaryan. Also I think Darida should make the next top300!
