while Goff probably earned a few $m extra on the extension he was already getting, both Jordan Love and Baker Mayfield made themselves serious money this weekend

Baker can probably lose himself a ton with a terrible showing next weekend, whereas Love is now a lock for a big deal I'd think.

Yeah 49ers are an entirely different ballgame but it's house money at this point. The progression of Love from the start of the season to now has been incredible, everyone is super young, and when one of the receivers goes down there seems to be another one stepping up.
