Watson is the 2nd highest paid qb in the league and Houston will have no leverage since Watson has a no trade clause and may want to force his way there so he would have to approve of the destination

He had little help this year and had his best season of his career. This is with injuries/suspension to his rb1, wr1 and wr2. His stats are slightly inflated due to his team being behind a lot but his turnover stats aren’t that high considering volume.

As a phins fan I hope they can trade down from #3 to #8-10 or so and take Rousseau, Paye, Parsons, or Chase and then give their 1st rnd pick along with the capital they received from that trade for Watson instead of giving up the farm for Watson as the team still has a lot of holes and then you have a star quarterback without the team around him to win.

I'm a Tua believer, think he had elite accuracy(Brees like) under 40 yards), and could read through the progressions quickly. The oline is still poor, and the Phins had both their slot receivers opt out for covid and Parker/Williams missed so much time... probably had the worst supporting cast in the league for a chunk of the season.

He wasn’t great and both he and his playcalling were too conservative but he completed 64% of his passes and had more than double the TDs to INTs in his first regular season as a QB after coming back from an injury so bad many people said he wouldn’t play at all this year
