This is a hilariously bad take. Young home grown player with a valuable skillset and great underlying numbers. Should easily fetch 40-50m and that's a great deal for whoever buys him. His biggest knock for me is finishing, but his ability to progress the ball into dangerous areas and create for teammates is incredibly good.

He's top 10 in passes into the penalty area p90 (excluding crosses) in europe big 5 leagues, and top 5 in progressive passes and runs p90 in the premier league. Also has ~ .5 NP xg+xa / 90 last season (has averaged >.4 in his 4 PL seasons).

Who's paying it though? Everton, ok, but that seems desperate on their part. European teams get nothing from the homegrown status and any team bigger/richer than Arsenal paying that doesn't seem to pass the smell test. For that price, he needs to be a slam dunk for non-btvditw teams

He already was, Ole didn't seem to have much time for the blundering lump.

Martial has also played a fair bit up top during preseason, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was Lukaku out, James/Greenwood in and no direct replacement bought.
