Schultz has fallen off the face of the planet. He was awful all year. Jack Johnson is also awful and Letang makes more turnovers than a German bakery. They got 3 cups, 2 very recent, but the window is pretty much closed in my opinion.

Horvat is excellent but his linemates would be third liners on most teams.

They are doing well in these playoffs specifically because they dramatically shortened their bench and moved Boeser back up to the 1st line. Boeser/Peterson/Miller are right up among best L1 in the league

What they need to do is give up on a bunch of their youngish 3rd liners like Gaudette from developing and dangle some picks to Seattle to clear them out and sign a bunch of defense first veterans like Barclay Goodrow or Joakim Nordstrom because the guys they hoped could do that can't so they just get abused when the 3rd and 4th lines are on the ice.

How much has Taylor Hall’s stock plummeted? Also Tocchet’s gotta be gone after this doesn’t he? That is not a good roster. Maybe Chayka is a genius for ghosting them...
