I wasn't old enough for '90 but yeah this isn't in the same league as '96.

Edit: and if we're doing playoff finals 2014 vs QPR was worse too.

completely unreal that england were such big favs. I mean +310? cmon thats absurd. from watching both teams this tourney and looking at the rosters it seemed that croatia was better on paper. I figured maybe injuries and the extra time could tilt it slightly but no way should croatia been worse than evens.

Yeah I think Croatia was underrated because they had difficulties against two teams who parked the bus for 120 minutes and played for pks.

But yeah even on paper Croatia's midfield is way better than England's
