Andre Iguodala, 34

I hated on Andre all year, took less shots than ever, hardly bent over during the regular season. But when it's playoff time, he's a cerebral defender and passer who runs the break and occasionally even gets up for an alley oop. He can play as few minutes as he likes during the regular season and spot duty in the playoffs. Should be useful for about as long as CP3 is.

old rookie, so not much in the upside dept, but he picked up minutes over the course of the year, is a strong defender, and has some shooting touch.

I've already got a 7 man rotation. There was a big I wanted to take here, but MKG as a defense-first guy to play at the 3/4 who turns 25 at the end of September - I really needed him here rotationally.

WCS is a mobile big who can guard 4's or 5's. He could start for me year one if Mo is developed slowly. He had a per 36 last season of 16pt and 9 boards. His age fits in perfectly and in a perfect world Mo can stretch enough on offense to allow him and WCS to play together.

I had MKG on my list for the last few rounds, and I would like buying low on him and getting him into a good situation, but man it's really tough to have a guy who can't even take open 3s at a 32% clip or something. And there's just so little to no evidence that he is actually good at basketball, it makes me sad.

I wanted to pair Mo up with another C because he is so young. I doubt he's going to see 25+ mpg year one so WCS is a nice transitional piece.

Nikola Vucevic is my pick. He makes for a solid third big in the Favors/Mirotic combo. He can play with either of those guys. He's coming off a strong year and he started firing away at the 3pt line last year. I'm hoping he can benefit a lot more since he's coming off the bench on this team and not being a main guy on a team w/o a point guard.

I'm gambling on Lonzo's shot improving. 17th pick in the third round doesn't usually give you a gamble with that high a celing tho. Good defender who penetrates and will move the ball quickly isn't the end of the world in a worst case scenario.

.273 of his shots were 0-3 feet and .523 were 3pa. He def needs to improve his stroke tho.

vucevic is really solid at this point i think. i thought about taking him last round. has a rep as a plodding big but his defensive #s are solid, he can shoot some. probably cant play in crunch time in the semi-finals but in the regular season you can grind out a lot of productive minutes with him against some of the lesser teams.
