Brad Stevens was picked around Kyrie, Gobert, Capela--I'd take the player over the coach 10/10 times when it comes to a 5 year window. If it's 15-20 year window than my decision changes. I'm not a huge fan of CJ, but I'd rather have Cp3, Harris and Turner over Pop especially when his window might be 2-3 more season at this point.

Around Snyder you had DSJ, Jae and Kelly--I'd be debating here. I'm not sure how good Quin really is.

I don't think Pop or Brad were tremendous values. I think the teams that drafted them are some of the worst in this. Like even if Daro high rolls Ayton, JB and Jamal Murray I'm not sure if he can beat the teams with a truly elite player.

Similarly Doncic + Pop just seems bad for top 2 picks and likewise Exo has a pretty poor team in this format, easily bottom 5 and that takes work to do when you turn down Kawhi, Lebron, Harden, KAT and Curry.

My best guess is that 3-5 coaches should be picked, brad around the fourth, maybe one more in the seventh (probably Quinn), and then one or two or three or none in the last round

Gobert turned not only into a DPOY but also turned a man that can't score from more than 3 feet into an offensive weapon with the best pick & roll scheme after Mike D'Antoni

Joe Ingles was out of the league at 29 after just one 15 day contract, and 3 years later he's between top 50-75 player itw

He managed to make the Gobert/Favors pair and rotation works positively which is quite insane in modern NBA

In one season 27yo Ricky Rubio progressed more than in 6 with the Wilves

Golden state warriors with Mark Jackson was a second round playoff team while with Steve Kerr they became the best team in the nba, Cj Mcollum isn't doing that to any team in the nba. The Spurs were a 7th seed & 3 games away from being the third best team in the WEST with LMA & a bunch of league average players. Cj Mcollum & a bunch of league average players & a average coach is probably the worse team in the west.

To the freaking 1st seed in the east, made 4 of those players allstars & they went to the eastern conference finals. You can try and convince yourself that Horford & Millsap are amazing players all you want but if you put Tyrone Lue as head coach they would probably barely even make the playoffs. Popovich, Brad, Snyder & Budd(can't spell his name & can't bother googling it) are worth more than any player outside of Lebron tbh. I'de rather have Popovich/Stevens/Snyder before even a player like Kevin Durant, that sounds like a hot take but what these coaches are doing with their rosters are more amazing than anything i've seen from KD thus far tbh.
