Lol that's like if I said I don't really care about the horoscope and you replied with "oh that's classic pisces."
I don't give a flying **** about conmenbol, UEFA, concacaf or whatever they are called.
What I have to say thought is that South American teams are in trouble. It seems like in the past they were superior technically, so the fact that they were hot headed didn't change the outcome of matches that much. But nowadays all European teams are decent technically and very calm during matches, which ends up giving them an edge (even Russia's match today shows this). That's why I knew we were screwed after the own goal. Most South American teams can't play from behind because they get too desperate and end up ****ing up. Just look at Coutinho during the last match. He had an assist but ****ed up A LOT. I mean, even Germany that was terribad still had that win vs. Sweden. Brazil would probably never had accomplished that in the same spot imo. And now that I think of it, Belgium deserved the win not because of how they played against us, but because they had that comeback against Japan. They did something that we probably couldn't have accomplished so I guess that makes them deserving of going through. What makes me a bit hopeful though is that this Brazilian team improved a lot emotionally speaking, and I blame Tite for that. He has to stay.

I was actually impressed with Brazils play when behind and thought to myself that they were an outlier not just for CONMELOL but in general. They naturally didn't make all the right decisions and maybe didn't look calm but at least they kept playing in the same general manner instead of resorting to immediately hoofing the ball forward or taking lots of extra shots from distance (which are not only bad but also cost a lot of time)

Other South American teams, not so much.

Yeah, Brazil were (and are) fine. Saying otherwise is incredibly results oriented. That game against Belgium was as much of an actual coinflip as you're going to get in high level football. So, when you've just lost what basically is 50% of a "Sklansky-Semifinal", you shouldn't make broad statements like "We just can't do it when coming from behind." Especially not when you have guys like Douglas Costa GÖAT ÖATing on the right wing for the last half hour, creating chances all over the place.

You should get rid of that pathetic ****, though, who every Brazilian legend of the past is mas grande than. He's basically just deadweight.

Yeah I thought Brazil played fine when behind. I agree that this is usually a problem for Conmebol teams but with Tite this is not an issue at all for Brazil anymore.

Germany, Spain, etc kept their composure when they needed a goal(against Korea,Russia) but were not creating that much at all.

Argentina needed a goal desperately against Nigeria and played like donkeys and luckboxed a goal.

Brazil played a much better team than the others and kept creating chance after chance.

Yeah, also Brazil just ran bad in that game vs Belgium imo. OG, clear pen not given, Silva's early chance to the post and like a million bounces in the box that went Belgium's way.

I said that during the second match or something. Not because I think he's terrible, but he was clearly not fit. anyways, enough with the derail.

Brazil for sure ran bad. I think there being a problem in South America might be slightly overblown. They are still the bed of talent worldwide. But the money in Europe has definitely increased standards there across the board. The fact all the top south Americans play in Europe only helps the European teams because now the CL is the highest level of football that exists. Top South American players play in it too, but slightly later in careers on average.

Apparently the Liverpool fans at Chester were chanting "We're not English. we're scouse".

Must really hurt that England are gonna win the World Cup before Plop win the PL.
