We have incorporated what will be the biggest single-tier stand in the country into the design to avoid exactly this problem.

Whether it works in practice is another thing entirely.

Most Londony spurs fans complain that the attitude has been very lame for the past decade or so. I think the lack of atmosphere is probably more to do with the demographics of people attending than stadium design.

I always thought White Hart Lane was decent, albeit that it should have a bomb dropped on it around kick-off on matchday.

I've only been once or twice so can't really comment. I would imagine most match-attending fans are usually quite bitter about how much worse the atmosphere is.

It was a bit tongue in cheek, but go on then, explain.

It's obviously true enough to touch a nerve. And don't go quoting weeks injured or something and claiming Lamela is actually key.

Chelsea were extremely lucky on injuries too, but Spurs were much better off than City, Liverpool, Arsenal and United on both total days injured and total injuries over 14 days. I'd expect the situation to be more stark if you looked at say top 5 most key players for each team.

Wow, are you feeling OK? Not heard something like that from a gooner in a long time

Yeah, I totally agree with you there mate. Although the only person who has vocally said he'd be up for leaving is Danny Rose, and to be quite honest he can **** off if he likes.

I'm hoping the new Stadium will be as good as WHL, but doubt it. We suck at Wembley, and it feels like it might be similar to that... we'll see.

Not much of a goalpost shift there then.

That's all you've got?

Yeah, it's just the teams they finished immediately ahead of that they were luckier than on injuries, no big deal.

I'll concede that I don't think injury luck was responsible for Spurs finishing higher than 7th, just for the fact they came 2nd and not 6th.

Dramabomb incoming.

1) We released an official statement that we declined an offer from Barca for Dembele: http://bvb.ir-portal.de/cgi-bin/show...yName=borussia
2) Dembele not showing up at practice
3) Bosz saying "we couldn't reach him, hope he is ok" (lol)

Our stadium atmosphere is the number one thing wrong with arsenal at the moment, it's just not an alienating atmosphere. I've been to many stadiums across Europe and south America and Arsenal's has by far the worst. Also if you read west harm's forum many of their fans have lost their connection with the club due to
Poor stadium atmosphere. Selling your soul for 20,000 extra seats is always a big risk in my opinion and it hasn't worked well for us.

Ah, those good old external factors that Plop fans blame for everything....

I thought Dortmund had to put out these official ad-hoc statements to inform their shareholders about current news that might affect the share price. I'm not sure how saying "bid for Dembélé rejected, transfer not exceedingly likely" does that, still pretty vague. Especially when at the same time the coach confirms that they have no idea where the guy is.

Anyway, popcorn.gif

He's probably confused as based on our transfer policy it'll be the Carvalho that used to play for Chelsea as he fits the age profile.
he had a couple of great years when he first showed up and people had really high hopes for him, but it seems he never really improved past that level. He's still a good player

Lol, you actually took that as "literally every other team", rather than the teams around Spurs? I hardly cherry picked United Liverpool, Arsenal and City, they were the 4 teams right behind Spurs.

Will he be competing with Noble and Obiang or is there someone I forgot?
If so, he's definitely an improvement.
