I think it is indeed somewhat close, but I can't see much of an argument for Westbrook(although its worth noting I had him as only 4th in MVP last year, so I've never been his biggest supporter).

Harden is clearly several tiers above Westbrook in this format. I think Westbrook is probably one of the lower max contract guys. He clearly played out of his mind this year with a subpar supporting cast and still couldn't get together a significantly winning team which hampers his value in a draft format. Harden has consistently put together good to great teams regardless of supporting cast for the past 4 years. You know taking Harden you'll have a top 8 team itl and top 5 in this draft even though he's a dog to be on the best team because LeBron exists. His efficiency at his usage is just almost comical for a non-great player.
