So let me get this straight. When Fed won the FO it didn't count because he didn't have to play Rafa but now that Djok has won it it proves he's the goat even though Rafa, Fed didn't even start, he didn't have to play Wawrinka at all and he beats Murray who's playing his first FO final. How does that work?

Djokovic is amazing but Nadal and Federer were equally amazing at their peaks. Saying that Djoko is definite GOAT is silly, it's not obvious in the slightest. Better than Nadal maybe as he spread his majors around better but Federer won most multiple times and he still has won 5 more majors.

So Djok not having to play the person who beat him last year is irrelevant now? And i'm not in either camp. I don't think Djok is the goat right now but he probably will be. I just find it funny how all you Novak lovers can think two complete opposite ways about the same situation.

I supported Novak early in his career. His camps antics turned me off and the Roddick/Novak US Open fiasco sealed the deal. I respect the guy completely, great personality. He's one of the best to play the game but he's not the GOAT imo. You only watch majors so what the **** do you even know? Lmao

I actually was never a Rafa fan btw, much preferred both Djokovic and Federer.

The GOAT was probably Rod Laver as he won two calender Grand Slams. That will never be done again.

Rod Laver doesn't even crack Elo lists. Tennis was just in so much tumult at that time and many people weren't even professionals.

I don't think he'd compete all that well against players today.

Think Federer is well liked pretty much all around really. The US and Aussie crowd hugely leans heavily towards him. Frenchies (especially) and Wimbledon too of course
