I wonder what the chances are that Miles will bench Flynn in favor of Perrilloux. They probably are not great, but I really think we would be a much better offense with Perrilloux starting.

I was leaning this direction before, but after seeing the game yesterday, ESPECIALLY if Flynn is not 100%, Perilloux should be playing every down.

Also, Hester is better than I previously gave him credit for, but I still think pretty much all your other backs are better.

Les Miles = racist?

Thanks for the kind words, bills. Good luck this week, I think it's going to be a nail biter. I'd like UK but UF is extremely good after a bye week.
Well I guess its up to me to be the voice of the annoying unoriginal UK fan

Florida sucks

bills, the line isn't predicting the outcome, come on.

We all know that in cfb especially anything could happen in this game.

In case some didn't hear, UF walk-on Michael Guilford and another UF student(Joe Haden's GF) was killed last week in a motorcycle accident. Should be some even extra emotion/motivation this week.

I just heard that LSU has won 24 straight night games in Baton Rouge. Sheesh!

that doesn't seem right

didn't they lose to Tennessee in OT in 2005 after having a big lead?

I'll admit, it's the best HFA I've seen in college football and the main reason I'm somewhat partial to LSU. I'm also a bit partial to Auburn, though, as well. And I'm in love with Spurrier, which used to mean Florida love, but now I love the gamecocks.

Yeah, I was thinking that was the last loss before the streak, but I guess you're right that was '05 so they couldn't have played 24 games since then. Crap, now I have to remember where I saw that stat.

Yes the stat is incorrect. '05 Tennessee game was at night. You'll have to accept my pic of the Hat as my only worthwhile contribution today.

I think this is correct now.

MT2R is correct. I think that the 05 TN game was a Monday night game (I could be wrong). The evil Creole voodoo swamp demons only come out on Saturdays.

The LSU game is probably my favorite game as an Auburn fan. The Bama game is too bitter and the Georgia game is almost too friendly. This is the first game this year that I'm not really worried about winning or losing. I'm just looking forward to it. Last year's game was probably the most violent college game I've ever seen. Every 3 yard run was earned.

Here is my favorite Auburn/LSU memory. In 1994, Auburn gained about 50 total yards but won their 15th straight game with 3 of these in the final 12 minutes:

1

2

3

2004 wasn't bad either:

4th and 12

a couple of plays later

In the interest of fairness I looked for Tommy Hodson's "earthquake" pass that beat Auburn in '88 but I couldn't find a good clip.

TFG,

Sorry to hear about the loss. (I had heard about this a couple of days ago, btw)

Both teams already have alot to play for and I am expecting another classic game this Saturday. Are you making the trip into Lexington?

Surely someone has explained to you that the officials were correct. It wasn't even a judgement call like the Leak play in the Florida game. You wanted Auburn to be penalized when there was obviously no foul (if you understand the rule.) Anyway, GL Saturday. Like I said I'm pumped for the game. I think if LSU stops the run, it's over. If they don't, Auburn's got a shot.

I'm partial to LSU and had money on them in the game last year

the calls were debatable, but correct IMO

This weekend will define the final contenders for the East/West.

East Matchup - Fla vs. UK, Fla must win to have any hope, a UK win sets them up very nicely for a legit push at the East

West Matchup - Aub vs. LSU, the winner will control their destiny in the West, the loser will be pretty much screwed

East/West Matchup - Tenn vs. Ala, the winner is very much alive in their division, the loser is done.

UT would still control their own destiny with a loss + UF loss.
