Rory just too good.

Everyone knows he is long, but hitting them straight and getting his putter working just means he is head and shoulders ahead of everyone right now.

If he gets this one, he'll be the 3rd player to reach 3 majors by age 25.

The other two should be obvious.

They are probably both less than 5% at this point. Broke down 40 year old Tiger will be lucky to win 1-2 more let alone 4. Rory has at least 12-15 more years of peak golf, possibly 20, and doesn't have a golf swing that will destroy his body.

If we are talking who will end career with more Rory v. Tiger, Tiger is the obvious favorite. But as far as who has the better chance at 18 majors? I would probably take Rory tbh. Tiger is very close to 0% chance to do it simply because time is running out. Rory has more time to hit a hot streak or get lots of positive variance and bink a bunch.

Also its possible Rory will have won 3 majors by 8+ strokes by this point tomorrow. And he is 25.

He was referencing through two rounds when the tournament was indeed over. The only thing that ever was left to be determined this weekend was the margin and the path. The path got a little interesting for a while but that's it. It's over.

Tom Watson was a putt away from winning the British at age 59. Lol at the timeframe closing.

There have only been a handful of majors won over the age of 45 EVER. No golfer has ever done it twice. So yes the window is closing, especially when Tiger hasnt been healthy in years.

There have only been a handful of guys with 79 or more wins in their career. Oh wait, there have only been 2. Lol at thinking olds from prior decades are in the same shape as olds will be in 15 years.

Ok. There is a slim chance Rory drinks too much tonight and misses his tee time tomorrow getting dq'd. Also a slim chance Caroline Wozniaki shows up and rattles him immensely. Lastly there is a slim chance he signs a wrong scorecard and gets dq'd. Those are the ways he can lose.
