I was stoving a hand I was involved in out of curiousity and got this result.

Board: Jd 9s 5c
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 50.000% 50.00% 00.00% 495 0.00 { AhKs }
Hand 1: 50.000% 50.00% 00.00% 495 0.00 { QsTs }

Ok no big deal, pretty standard. However, I then was curious how much of a difference it would make if I changed the K to a different suit, presumably giving the QsTs a very slightly higher chance of hitting running spades. I was curious just how much of an effect that would have, so I stoved again.

Board: Jd 9s 5c
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 50.000% 50.00% 00.00% 495 0.00 { AhKh }
Hand 1: 50.000% 50.00% 00.00% 495 0.00 { QsTs }

Now I definitely would've expected the resulting difference to be very minor, but I don't understand how it can be 0, not even a single pot effected by an extra spade in the deck. Can anyone explain this to me?

*edit* Also, I apologize if this isn't the right forum. I wasn't sure where to put this.

Yeah, I agree that seems weird.

I guess it could be down to the rounding? Although that doesn't seem right either:

(10/45 * 9/44) - (9/45 * 8/44) = ~0.009 = ~1%

Nothing weird here. The flop is rainbow, flush is impossible, so changing king's suit makes no difference.

Any King is a win for QT already, so switching the Ks with the Kh doesn't change the equity, though it does change some QT wins from straights to flushes.

This is correct, try changing the suits of the ace, like AsKh vs AhKh, I imagine the equitys will be different.
