Using a HUD (HM2) on Bovada Using a HUD (HM2) on Bovada

I recently downloaded HM2 as I was told this is the only way to access stats while playing on this site. I was able to import my own hands using pokerace, but I'm unsure how to get the HUD to come up while I'm playing. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Steve

Only HUD that works on Bovada is by HoldEm Indicator.

Not true. I just started using HM2 the other day.

Steve:
To display your HUD first make sure you are importing your hands to Pokerstars. Idk why but there is no option for Bovada and this is how they tell you to set it up.

Within HM2 click the active session tab
Next you have to click table finder (bottom left of HM2)
Once within the "table finder" you drag the "finder icon" over your table

How do you "import hands to Pokerstars" in HM1? Or does only HM2 work with Bovada?

I believe you can use the card catcher or hand converter from acepokersolutions with hm1 as well as pt4/hm2 but you should ask them in their support thread in the commercial software forum to be sure.

So do you need the acepoker card catcher to run the HUD or can it work on its own?

You need the card catcher for the HUD to work. They have a separate hand converter for importing the hands you request 24 hours after your session. My understanding is if you have the card catcher and always use it when playing you don't necessarily need the hand converter but I could be wrong on that since we don't provide support for bovada or ace poker's products. They have their own support thread in the commercial software forum where you should ask for clarification.

Thanks Foz. Yeah, the bovada card catcher will allow you to run a HUD with HM2/PT4. You don't need the converter if you have the catcher. The converter just allows you to study your game more in depth by seeing all known hole cards and will import zone hands which the catcher currently doesn't.

So it just matters what your needs are. If you don't want to run a HUD on bovada, then the hand converter is plenty. If you want a HUD, then you need the card catcher, and the converter is an optional tool.
