You can't chat on AIM while playong on UB.
I even have the active x mouse control thing, it's anti-steal focus.. But UB grabs your cursor, and puts it on the table you are playing at so that it will steal focus.

Does anyone know how to undo- this or something so that I can type a full AIM message without the focus goign back to the UB table so I end up typing stuff into the UB chat instead of AIM chat?

Nothing you can do. I have no [censored] clue why UB are so intent on making it impossible to play on their site.

vega you find anything to make it easier to multiple on this site? namely automatically putting the cursor in the type in the bet area and not taking your focus..

using that script if i type .55 if the focus was stolen the second 5 ends up in chat which is obviously not desired...
and its frustating trying to click fold when the other tables (overlap sucks) keeps popping up

Use BetPot to enter your bets / hit the check/fold/raise etc.

Have you tried this and had problems already?

dave.

I haven't played at UB in ages but this worked for me back in the days:

1. Get XP Powertoys Tweak UI (download on the Microsoft site). There is an option to prevent focus stealing. This prevents UB from stealing from other applications but doesn't help for one UB window stealing from the other.

2. Use gametime+ to prefetch hand histories and move the HH windows somewhere where they don't bother you. Gametime+ uses some magic to prevent the HH windows from stealing focus. (You won't even be able to switch into them using the task bar because of this magic. You have to actually click inside the window to activate.)

I don't have PAHUD but I guess you can let gametime+ do the prefetching and turn off all displays while PAHUD handles the display but not prefetching. PAHUD should be set up to use the same directory that gametime+ saves the HHs to.
