Any good software to record myself while playing out here ?
I've a bad experience with those so I'll gladly take some advice onto which one I should turn myself to.

Try CamStudio. I made a few decent recordings with it and its Freeware.

snagit ftw. inexpensive, easy to use, free 2gb of screencast for easy upload/sharing. Made by techsmith that makes camtasia. They integrated the old free jing video recorder into the snagit image editor and it is awesome. I only use camtasia when I need to record higher resolution or multiple monitors.

Screencast-O-Matic.

I know the name is off-putting but it is so legit. Have never had an issue and it's a really cheap (I think it's a few $10s of dollars every 6months or year). Includes some free hosting for vids and has all the features I ever needed from Camtasia (I have Cam for my Mac but didn't want to buy a copy for Windows).
Really happy with it.

^ I can only echo these comments. Really happy with it despite the ****ty sounding name. However it does get laggy so beware. I run stars, and maybe one or two more clients while running this and it does freeze for a few seconds. I run off a Mac.

You can save it as high quality if that's a big concern for you and has all the effects and what not you need.

Also if you have QuickTime then that does a job unless you want to record part of your screen only while running other programs or tables on the side. The problem with it is it fades out the parts of your screen you don't want to record. Other than that it is a cool simple recorder.

Maybe I missed it, but what O/S are you on?

I use Screenium on my Mac. However QuickTime will do this as well, and it’s already on the system. (might work on Windo$e as well)

I got a message to upgrade this. First it tried to get me to install Zonealarm stuff and when I unticked it still installed two other unwanted programs.

^ i just downloaded activepresenter and its working very well. not to much lag. Im not 100% sure if this program came with any viruses or not but norton said trojan blocked...i was downloading something else at the same time. Anyway I have had so many issues in the past with downloading any screenrecorder whether it be because it lags to much or comes with viruses and unwanted programs but this is the first time there hasnt been an issue and fwiw I am running a stock pos pc here so if this program works for me it should work for almost anyone
