Can anyone recommend a software that uses a hotkey that will load some type of image (ie Excel, etc) to quickly use if a co-worker / boss walks by?

I'm not quite sure what search terms to use at a download.com

LOL - can't you just have Excel open and maximised and then click on it so it covers the screen?

Or, heaven-forbid, actually do some work..?

geee, why didn't i think of that? So that i can just click excel when someone comes by?

anyone besides the moral police have any idea?

Definitely don't do work. That is a last resort.

Have you tried alt+tab? It switches between programs on the taskbar really quickly. You might even be able to set up a hot key on your mouse to alt+tab. Give it a shot.

Load this into IrfanView (popular free image viewer):


Just hit enter and the image will be full-screen. When the boss sees the BSoD, just tell him Windows crashed and you lost everything you've been working on. Now you get a free pass for being unproductive, too.
