Why doesn't this exist yet?

I'm looking for ages now do get this thing. For all of you limitplayers, wouldn't this be a great script to avoid timingtells?

I'm seeing all sorts of bull**** scripts and this would be such a great script for limitplayers..

Why isn't it here yet?

Anybody wants this thing as bad I do?

Not cool.

Are you just going to keep creating new threads until someone makes this for you?

I just want to know if there are more people like me who really want a bettimer cause they don't want to care about their own timingtells. And yeah, I really would like to see it created some time....I wonder if more people do..

I re-titles your thread. Please do not make "new AHK" threads unless you have a new AHK to post. If you have a request, name it as such. Soing the opposite (as you did) will cause people who could implement your request to ignore the thread, and others who want it to click, find nothing and get irked.

FWIW, it already exists - and has done for a long time - see here: http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/BetTimer

Oh, and timing tells on the Internet are at best unreliable and at worst totally incorrect / misleading - you have no idea if the other players acted instantly, took 10 seconds, or if they see your actions at the same speed you perform them.

I know about that bettimer, but I need one for Stars and/or Ipoker.

Timing tells are maybe unreliable, and I rarely adjust my play to certain timing from others. But it's more a psychological thing. I'm allways afraid that other players see stuff or can narrow my range because of certain timingtells I have. And I think in a lot of cases, they really can. Or when they raise me.....is it a legitimate raise or a bluffraise because they saw weakness in my timing?? I'm allways struggling and searching for ways to avoid those timingtells I have but 1 is for sure:

A bettimer would make my poker experience a lot relaxter.

I really hope 1 day someone will create it for Stars and/or Ipoker. And I'm also wondering if there are more people out there who have the same problem. That's why i posted this topic. I play limit by the way where timingtells is a much larger issue for sure.

By the way:

I already have an unfinished bettimer script for Ipoker. It already works but some things need to be fixed.

If there are AHK experts reading this now and you would like to take a look? Please contact me....or email me at len_kon87 at hotmail........

If it sorta works, stick it up on the wiki / share it

People who try it will help you out.

Timing tells on the Internet is imo a total red herring I am sure, however. If someone acts instantly - are you sure the previous player did not act 20- seconds earlier, but lag caused both actions to hot your client immediately one after another? Same if a player tanks for a while - unless it says player_xxx requested time - you have no idea how long it actually took for them to click - only how long it took for the action to be relayed to your client... and even if they did request time - how do you know their connection wasn't messing up?

imo, get over this train of thought and start to totally ignore timing on the internet - it can never be reliable. Do not worry what others see in your timing - becasue ofr one you have no idea what timing they have even seen, regardless of the apparent speed of the action.
