Unlikely

TheOpener by TheIrishThug will open it (and can minimize it) and other things for you with one click. The beta warning will be gone in 10 days.

Using Camtasia Studio 5, I recorded a 1 hour 4 table video in WMV format but I can seem to make my HUD numbers and bet sizes clear. Is there a recording feature that I'm not using to clear up the picture?

Hey guys,

iPoker is just driving me nuts. I like to stack the tables one on the other. Sometimes, it works splendidly ... other times they just all stall out. This was never a problem at Poker Stars, but for some reason, iPoker refuses to be co-operative.

Is there some button I can click to get things going in sequence, or at least ... get things going?

Sometimes it seems to stall out on annoying things, like showing asking me to show a mucked hand or not. Other times the tables refuse to appear for no apparent reason, as I time out frantically clicking through all the table links to find the culprit.

If anyone could offer any help, I would be forever in your debt. Even if it's just to jump start the tables again, I'd be happy.

Best,
Flux

(ps I'm on Titan)

Ok I posted a problem regarding my Postgres database in the HEM thread.

Last night it stopped working somehow and it still doesnt. The weird thing is, I tried to restart my computer and after that my internet stopped working as well, and it probably has something to do with my Ethernet card.

Now my question is:
Is there any relation between postgres and a working ethernet card (on board card to use LAN, dunno the exact english word for it)?

Vista Update yesterday? This is from weeks ago, but it affected someone else recently as well.

1: Go to "C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc" and open the "hosts" file with notepad

It might look something like this:
**************************************************
# Copyright (c) 1993-2006 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

::1 localhost
************************************************** ****

2: Enter "127.0.0.1 localhost" (without the quotes) at the bottom of the file
4: Save the file
5: Restart PostgreSQL service by clicking on Start Menu - Programs - Postgresql - Start Service

Thanks,

Roy

"ethernet card" is the correct english postgresql requires a working TCPIP stack, if your ethernet has stopped working (and it isn't a hardware fault) this is likely the problem.

What happens if you open an administrator command prompt and type "ipconfig /all"?

Gonna try that later, but buying an ethernet card as well, it' mostlikely my mainboard that screwed up (read it after tons of research).

Anyone know how to disable right click to change table backgrounds on Full Tilt? I compulsively right click my mouse when I'm waiting for the next action (I know, it's ****ing weird) and it drives me ****ing nuts now that I've switched to FTP and that stupid ****ing menu pops up every time I right click.

Is there anyway to prevent a table from stealing focus under vista? And maybe have focus following the mouse instead. I used Tweak UI for XP but dont think that works under vista.

Full Tilt? I think FTP has problems that you dont see at stars. I think Full Tilt Shortcuts cures the issue but I am not positive. You can also try Keyboard Redirect AHK from overcards.com.

I saw a video on card runners with a guy who had a HUD that showed how many big blinds he had. It looks pretty handy for multi-tabling and I was wondering if anyone knew where to get it.

Full Tilt? Full Tilt Shortcuts is the only thing with a OSD for actual BB count I think. HEM HUD you can color code the 'abb. name' stat by bb, but I dont think you can display the actual bb count.

Thank you for moving my post, I saw this thread but I wasn't sure if it was for all questions or not.

Yeah it was a video on fulltilt, unfortunately I don't play fulltilt. Oh well I'll just do simple math.

HEM is collecting stats on my opponents, but when I click on the Players tab (33), the names of opponents don't show up. Any ideas?

You have to run a report on the players tab to filter thru the players and show results of the players that fit the criteria for that report. That tab wont do you much good with only 33 players in your DB.

HEM or PT3? Pros/Cons of each? I currently have PT2 w/PAHud and I'm getting annoyed with it.

Why HM is better than PT3?

Poker Tracker 3 or Holdem Manager?

HEM vs PT

Those are the 3 most recent threads on the subject that have more than 10 replies. There are definitely more threads if you want to do more searching. I just took a quick look using - Search: Keyword(s): hem, vs, pt3 ; Forum: Software

HEM has a 15 day trial and PT3 has a 60 day trial so try em both for a while (one then the other, not at the same time - so you can evaluate each individually).
