Recently I've started playing 20+ tables in a stack on Stars. Recently I ran into a problem that I hadn't encountered before. Once I had roughly a dozen or more tables going, and I added another, the display of the PokerStars program stopped redrawing when I switched between tables.

As I switched between tables, I would see if I had been dealt new hole cards as well as an updated bet-slider, but mostly I was unable to see any of the action at the tables. Is there someway to force Stars to redraw the tables?

Note, this wasn't a problem as recently as last week. I use a number of AHK scripts but I confirmed it wasn't them causing the problem. The problem does not occur if I don't have the HEM HUD up and running.

Put f5redrawtable=1 in your options. Stars Menu>Help>Open My Settings Folder>User> Paste is in right under [Options]

When you need a redraw hit F5

If I screwed that up I'm sure one of the gurus will be in here shortly anyway lol.

PS...have you posted about this on the HEM forum?

I think both major HUDs will do this to PS at some point, depending on unknown machine specs

I *think* AHK-HUD is immune, but I couldn't be certain (and it only works on PT3 database aorn). Have you tried with vanilla PA-HUD+PT2 also?

edit: ^^^ F5redrawtable doesn't help IIRC, at least not when I've been developing scripts that can trigger this very annoying graphics glitch Can't hurt to try however...

heh, I wish - if I actually knew how to avoid breaking Stars graphics (without avoiding a whole boatload of windows GDI functions) - we'd have some very useful scripts, which I currently assign to be "impossible"

Thanks for the info, for now the glitch has stopped happening. Now I'm trying to increase the resources alloted for the virtual machine which I run all my poker programs through, but unfortunately when I add more RAM, HEM no longer recognizes itself as activated!

Lol Dave, well if there is anyone who can make the impossible get closer to being possible it's you! All the contributions you've made are invaluable and have been insturmental in my donk self being able to mass table efficiently now lol. Thank you!
