PostgreSQL problems with PokerEV

All of the sudden PokerEV is unable to read my PostgreSQL database. When I started it up it would say the password is invalid for my username. So i did some googling and ended up setting up postgreSQL to allow access to everything and now the error message is

"Error Connecting to the SQL server. Check that the service is started. The message was: FATAL: 3D000: database "PTPGSQL1" does not exist.

I think this is the old name of my postgreSQL database before I reinstalled it with the most up to date version. Can anyone help?
