Hello,

I have installed this program on my computer, but then my PC went off, after fixing it Postgre has been deleted. So now I am trying to install it again, but Postgre asks me for a old password, but I do not remember it and I have not PostgreSql installed on my computer. So what are the ways to reset password or to do something, to recover it, how could I do it? Waiting for the help. Thanks a lot

you could try

running the uninstaller if it's still there
running a registry check and fixing them

you can do these with a free soft called ccleaner. google and download it, you'll find it a great help maintaining your pc in good order.

if those don't work, try an older restore point to a point when postgre was not installed.

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator
[PHP]net user postgres /delete [/PHP]
4) Delete any left over \postgresql\data files from your old DB, reboot.
5) Install postgresql
