Possible to develop software FOR a site?

Yeah, I had that idea too. I'm sure the heads at most poker sites have contemplated it too. Nothing like it exists as far as I know.
Many existing sites would rely heavily on client side validation (bot mitigation, DoS attack issues etc)and would have to do a lot of work on their back ends to make them accessible and secure with an API.
Some sites let their skins change the graphics of the client
