Whats up guys, I have a MAC and I just purchased some new mods from fozzy.... Who is the best person to talk to in regards to installation etc etc... I am having a hell of a time with getting them installed....

I am around all night and all day tomorrow, I also have skype aim etc etc so if someone can help me I will be more than happy to hook you up with a $5 xfr on stars

1. Put the folder XThemes the following: (home) / Library / Application Support / PokerStars / XThemes;
2. Replace in file xthemes.ini \ at /.

I am following you all the way up until #2... Sorry I am new to this The folder I downloaded was just a bunch of letters and numbers so I renamed it, Is that okay?

Then when I open the folder I have fozzy.fozzypokermods.co, options, theme and xthemes.ini.txt

I don't know anything about MAC's and I unfortunately didn't zip it up for ease of installation. I just zipped it up from my \Compiler and created a xthemes.ini.txt file manually. My installers normally create or edit the xthemes.ini file.

You want to use the folders within it, and not the main folder. I will try to zip it up better tomorrow, so it is easier to extract and use, if you send me a reminder email. I did that in a hurry without considering the fact that it may be your first time installing a theme to a mac (I have never even used a MAC b4). I am off to bed or I would try to get it sorted out right now for you. Chances are I would screw it up even worse than I did earlier if I tried to do it now.

What he is referring to is changing the / in the xthemes.ini file. For some reason the / does not jibe with the macs..

To Fix:
1. Open the xthemes.ini file in a text editor. (I use text wrangler)
2. change the / to a \
3. Save and done.

Hey Foz, just an FYI I got the mod working with a little bit of help, I just wanted to give a big TY to jdennis111 and fozzy, they both are extremely helpful and go way out of their way to help people who have issues.... Thanks again guys.

My next question is this, Since I use a Mac for all my poker playing online, What exactly CAN you mod on Stars when you have a Mac??? Obviously we know you can mod the Theme but can you mod the cards and card backs???

I would love to see some a little bit of what people are using currently if they have a Mac.....

I think you can mod them but you cant skip the stars updates. This means you need to open stars and then paste the modded decks/chips into the pokerstars folder. Once you paste them in you may need to change the cards from simplified to alternative and back in the Themes menu for them to show at the table.

tgz files work nice for mac cards and chips

biggest thing to be careful of with mac os - if you copy an entire folder - everything in the target folder gets erased - not like windows where only matching files get overwritten and the rest remain untouched

I am excited to get my new deck on Stars right now I am using Fozzy's Mod with like 30 different backgrounds and it looks great...

I was kinda unhappy with PokerStars table layouts after moving from Full Tilt, for now just tweeked the most annoying stuff. Can you see what I hated most?

For that I would do a complete custom theme, I mean custom layout, custom fonts, custom anything
