Does anyone know if it is possible to relocate where it says your chip stack size in mtt's/sng's to somewhere else like the center of the table?

Or if any mods exist already?

I have only seen that mod in this thread, and doubt that I have a copy myself.

Not possible. That info is encrypted in the gx.ini file and cant be edited.

when I 4-table 25/50 it´s important to have a clear loverlook and no distraction

so I made the standart slick theme which is nice ...
- clean and even more black (the carpet was drivin´ me crazy)
- i added red hole cards so i don´t cbet into 3 people thinking there are only 2
- made the dealer button bright yellow to find him faster

this setup fit´s my hud perfectly and was easy to do (1.5 hours)

hint: if you feel the need to blur out your user name at the tables, you should prolly do the same on the title bars of the windows

You need to create a new \xtheme folder and add the applicable code to the xthemes.ini file.

just put it in PS folder .. and select theme in PS itself (name: goddi_basic)

FYI - This is only fine, if you dont already have any custom xthemes.

If they already have their own custom themes created, and written in their xthemes.ini folder, your .ini file will overwrite theirs and they wont be able to use their previous custom themes.

all Im trying to do is add a new red statusb but everytime I go to restart Stars it asks me to download the upgrade and overwrites what I changed. Is there any way to get around this?

Yes, PS by default (desktop icon) starts with a file "updatepokerstars.exe" and that causes the update. Just create a new shortcut that points to just "pokerstars.exe" and it won't update. You will still need to periodically do the normal update and reinstall any changes you want, in order to get updated software when there are major changes, then just go back to using the one I mentioned above.

you could move your modded files over to an XThemes folder and make it permanent

if i knew which theme you were modding i could offer more detailed instruction

as a rule of thumb, you should rename the included xthemes.ini to xthemes.txt - then include instructions for the user to either copy the text into their existing xthemes.ini file (if they have one) or to rename the file xthemes.txt to xthemes.ini (if they do not already have one)

I'm using the black theme and just trying to add the red statusb that was posted in this thread on page #2 by episteme (sp?). I made a new shortcut that wasn't directed towards pokerstars upgrade but it still didn't work.

The red statusb thing was posted in this thread 2 years ago... does it no longer work or am I just doing it wrong? I saved it as statusb in the black theme, label folder and moved the other statusb out.

I obviously don't know much about this, so thanks alot for any guidance.

close PokerStars if you have it running

extract the contents of this zip file to your PokerStars folder

then open your PokerStars folder and find the XThemes folder

there will be a file called xthemes.txt inside (make sure you have your windows folder options site to show file extensions)

if you already have a file named xthemes.ini - copy the text from the txt file and paste at the end of the text in the ini file

if you do not have a file named xthemes.ini - simply rename xthemes.txt to xthemes.ini

this package just contains a statusb.bmp that i simply tinted red - you will want to replace that image with the red one you are wanting to use

once complete, open pokerstars and you should see the custom theme listed at the bottom of the themes list

I made this today. First time ever I have played around with mods. It is clear that I need a lot of training. Especially the edges around the buttons need some work (but the colors make my eyes relax). Any and all comments are welcome

No, it isn't possible. There is an old thread/petition in this forum about it, trying to get stars to increase it or make it editable.
