Did anyone by chance found a solution for editing .ini files in windows 10? (Normally I d just use Notepad, but in win10 I just get some jibberish)

I have a mod shop called ModManiac where I've offered graphics for Bovada/Bodog, and the Winning Poker Network for the past couple years (you can check out the mod threads for those sites if interested). Since I'm American and can't play on PokerStars, I've only been making mods for the sites I can play. But, after receiving many requests from players on PokerStars, I've finally gotten around to it. Here are some previews of the decks I currently have available:

Use a program called tablecrab2.

A user called mme posted it.

I'm on my phone so can't search the archives, but a search will find it.

It can decrypt and reencypt the gx files.

You should edit the lines in gx.ini for your given table theme and then use PokerStars.exe for running PokerStars client without update:

[table]
prize-pool-control=-396,-231
spingo-message=-396,-168 -396,-260
prize-pool=-396,-145

This includes animation (prize-pool-control, spingo-message).

Sorry to keep posting guys, but I seriously am useless at this as I've been trying for hours to try get the following mods for my Spin & gos without success:

1. Hide spin wheel animation
2. Hide prize pool to be displayed
3. All tables to remain the same colour except the 10,000x multiplyer
4. Hide observers (preferably but not essential)

Is there anyone that wouldn't mind sending me an already edited theme (default/nova/whatever) that I can use to overwrite my existing? I'm willing to pay for this if need be.

I am new to modifying the themes but thanks to the pokerStars theme integration guide I am almost there. I followed all the steps in the document.

I can select the new theme but then I get the message: "This theme requires "Black" to be installed".

Theme Black is installed and this is my xthemes.ini

[NEWTHEME-1@xxx.pokerstars.com]
name=New Theme 1
copyright=(c) 2016
folder=xxx.pokerstars.com/NEWTHEME-1
base=Black

What am I missing here? Plz let me know.

Use tablecrab2 a user called mme posted it a while ago.

Use the search function to find it. It will decode and encrypt the files
