there are quite a few still knocking around, depends on how recently you've joined or have been following for.

There's no index or wiki of them unfortunately so it's quite a bit of searching.

deck creation afaik is covered in this guide I wrote (badly) eons ago:
clicky and the pstig zip for the png2bmp and mskmgr progs.

In short you would make a cardbase file with 6 colours:
spades, clubs, diamonds, hearts, 4 colour clubs, 4 colour diamonds.

Cardbase would be a blank block of colour which you lift from the deck picture you posted.



You would then get tricky with the cardrank file:
This will have 13 blank (white cards) created/copied/lifted from one of the ranks in your picture.



Each card will be a mask that would be overlaid on the cardbase you just made. So for each rank you need to make a cut-out / mask in the card so it would reveal the colour of the suit underneath.

then you test like bggry in the client, make sure you have the ranks in the right order etc.

fix a drink, sit back and enjoy.

fwiw: you would need to ensure the original deck is freeware otherwise that designer might get upset about IP.

About the concern for the original deck author's intellectual property - I got the files for these cards ages ago on the full tilt modding thread. They were freely shared, I kept them on my computer and they've been my favourite cards since. I'm not going to sell them so I don't see a problem...

A bit offtopic but a long time ago I made a poker table myself and made it public. Ever since then I've seen it pop up in threads a few times and I've just been delighted for that! The table: http://imgur.com/eu40Hct.

Jup, a semi-transparent shadow in the rank overlay will work just fine.

Standard procedure would be to export your images as 24-bit PNG files then run png2bmp to process that into a .bmp and a .a.bmp mask file.

You could avoid the whole png2bmp process entirely if you use this deck in the quasar folders.

It is likely that you will decide that your source file is not at a large enough dimension/resolution and you will riffing a new mod with that as your template.

If so your main issue will be font-matching.

afaik the border should be mapped to the same co-ords as the seat= co-ords.

R - Yes. i open this files (seat/border-glow) in Corel Photopaint and i can see that size/posicion is the same.

R - Yes. The same offset for all seats. This make me think that have a problem with .ini coordenates

You're using Nova as a base gx ini; if Nova works fine with a border-glow image I'm confused as to why your gx.ini file isn't.

Best excercise is to cross-compare and debugg the differences.
Border_glow_base=1 might me a toggle to which image the border-glow centres on.

Try adjusting that from -1 through 0,1,2 etc and see what changes occur.

For everyone thinking about trying TN2:

TN2 is bugged with Hyper-Simple until a fix (about next week). This means all mods requiring TN.Images.Tiltbuster- or TN.NoImages.Tiltbuster-setting won't work properly. Don't waste your time trying to make it work (like i did).

and disable this line:

it would make sense to change all entries to read

=chipone.png@chips

thus just using one chip image

however, this would mean anyone using your theme couldn't use any bespoke chip images / mods.

the standard method would to use one chip png and rename copies of that image to all the chip denominations in your chips folder.
