This package is installed to: C:\Program Files\PokerStars\Backgrounds-Solids-v1

You can put any .JPG you want in this folder, Reload the Script, and have new background options.

Also of note, when this script is running in the System Tray, and you want to turn it off, you can Right-Click + Exit, or you can Ctrl + Alt + Q to exit.

is there a way to remove avatars from the Pokerstars Black skin by any chance?

You can prolly turn off the images, and photoshop the actual files (C:\Program Files\PokerStars\Themes\black\label\ border.bmp/.a.bmp, and borderb.bmp/.a.bmp), or new files, into much smaller circles, but you have to have something there, or you cant sit at the table. _dave_ has a theme he made/uses, with very small circles in that spot. It sorta emulates a no images theme. I have never done it myself, and dont have links to any images, or where he posted it, unfortunately.

I made the more difficult (Standard Deck) of the white decks first. People have been asking me to make this deck for for Stars for almost a year now. Ever since I made the FTP-Vista deck that everyone seemed to love. I will work on a white face version of my Gothic (Simplified) deck for you next.

Are the indexes exactly the same as with the normal standard deck? Or are they pretty much the same?
Anyway, i will buy this one soon, but maybe i'll like the white Gothic version more, so i'll wait for that one.

The text is exactly the same. The text of the Standard deck is not editable, like the simple deck. There are no graphic images of the text. It is written on the cards, by the Stars client, instead of having image files of text pictures layered on top. Luckily the colors I picked for my suits, matched pretty closely, because I didnt realize how the text worked til I was nearing the end of this project.

That is the default PokerStars theme... you want that for Party?? WHY???

It may already exist, as there are a lot free party mods available on the web. I don't do party poker mods.

Is there a way to make a circle of color all around an Open Seat ? I am not talking about a particular theme but in genral.

not sure if this is possible yet, but can empty seats become blank yet on stars?

meaning if a seat is empty there is no empty seat, no avatar circle, no box etc. Just a blank spot?

I find it humorous that one post wants to see empty seats better (cash games?), and the other guy wants them invisible (SNG's?).


The only thing I can even think remotely close is a No Images theme. They can be customized to highlight empty seats. This is bar Nuthin's Minimal theme, but any quality no images theme should do this in some manner. The Images themes don't have the extra highlight images to make the theme do that.



No. Best you can do is make them kinda semi-transparent grayed out, in the No Images themes. The standard images themes have the avatar border images. Those can be made smaller, but I am unsure if you can make them completely invisible. They have to be visible, to be clickable, or you could never sit at an empty seat. Even if you do make them less noticeable, you can't get rid of the 'Empty Seat' text that the client overlays on that area.

Take a look at seat 4 in this pic.

It is a bit possible.

I have made this here. Unfortunately the flashy-green boarder is the same image as when some action occurs.

Try it if you want:

If you take a look at Bar Nuthin's minimal theme (scroll up), the empty seat is a bit different than the currently active seat. The empty seat image is the same image, that shows briefly, for the person who had previous action. The currently active player uses a different image, as does the inactive players.

This theme had a brighter gray ring in here, for the empty seat and previous action image. I put the green one in, so it would be more noticeable for this pic.

Those are gregg777's FTP chips that Fenhir ported to Stars.

I posted a link to Fenhir's chips earlier in this thread. It was quite sometime ago. I think it was part of a bigger package. He likely posted links as well, or its part of the package he just linked to.

I have an installer with those chips I made for my own use, but I don't like to distribute other peoples work. I think I shared it with Fenhir when I made the chip installer, if memory serves.

This is my understanding of the Standard deck, so far.

That is typically the file (cardrank.bmp), yes. There is also usually an associated mask file (.a.bmp), to control the transparency of the font images on that file. That, however is blank, so that the Stars client can write the text over the cardbase images. The mask file is therefore unnecessary, as there is no images on that file to mask.

I assume if I made a cardrank.bmp file (and cardrank.a.bmp) to put in there, that the client would layer my text on top of the text that it is writing live on the cards. This is just an assumption, as I havent tested my theory yet.

Also of note, is there is not any cardrank file, blank or otherwise, in the 2 smallest deck image folders (folder 0 and 1).
