I'm pretty sure if you email them about it and tell them what you just told us, they're pretty lenient about it if you haven't deposited.

I wasnt serious on that one, my irony statement should have made it clear, it may havent.

No one gets it because you'd have to be a total ****ing idiot to want to "remove" PokerStars from your computer for the reason you originally stated.

We didn't/don't believe that you aren't trying to do this for another reason.

Also, see the response from PokerStars.

Why would you even respond in the first place, if you cant contribute anything constructive?

Furthermore was my problem solved by the PokerStars staff member, who told me that PokerStars doesnt save the data on my computer.

I dont have any further problems.

Btw: If I wanted to datamine, I could do it easily, we got 9 different computers in our household, a router, so I can switch IPs whenever I want to, etc. The same goes for opening a new account.

If you don't play at PokerStars, then there's no reason for you to be datamining there. Q.E.D.

Please see the previous message. PokerStars does not store such data to the registry. All PokerStars' data is stored to .ini files in the PokerStars directory. Machine tracking data is stored server-side and cannot be erased.

Maybe he is hunting superusers on your site since online poker rooms in general have been proven incompetent of doing that job on their own(of course why would they want to catch anyone...

I'm aware, note how I said "Also, see the response from PokerStars."

I actually searched Google for this but had a somewhat decent reason. I have a friend that PS security always hassles because they think he is somehow associated with my account. He's had to ID verify twice now. Probably because I've played on his computer before and on various laptops. Figured a clean install would help.

Since PS probably stores your MAC address and windows reg/serial information, then an hd format, completely new OS install, IP address change and NIC card would prob make the system think you were new.

I agree though, most reasons for this are dishonest ones.
