Performance problems

So I need a windows 7 theme that looks and works super simple like windows 98.
I've got tableninja a few days ago but with around 20 tables up on stars and holdem manager running my computer is causing little delay that is pretty annoying.
Next step is going to be new pc, but don't have the money for that yet so need a quick solution for now
If someone has another idea don't hesitate writing it down
