Admit it, it's better than some of the stuff in this thread.

improvements in the next version:
"fold", "check", "call", and "bet" buttons are replaced with "whine", "brag", "tilt" and "nascar"

Sorry guys, just started playing at FT and I'm a little confused.

I saved the cards.png file and made 6 duplicates, cards0.png, cards1.png, etc.

Worked great, but how do I get them to the correct sizes, so when the table changes sizes so do the cards? Can't find the resolutions anywhere and I only see 1 file posted for all the different decks....am I doing something wrong?
02-09-2008 , 12:21 AM
Most of the deck pic's you see are from either - a) before they had multiple sized deck images, or b) previews of my old decks that used to be posted or linked to ZIP's. I removed all my complete decks last fall after I began selling them in self-installing packages.

What you are trying to do is rename a cards3.png image that is 700x420 and using it for cards0 (420x252) or cards6 (1176x708). For obvious reasons, this doesnt work very well. Here are screen grabs of proper file names and dimensions of 2 decks.

Default FTP Deck:

One of my over-sized XX decks:
I oversize Cards0, 1, 2.

Here is my original Version 5.4 Arial cards. They are included in my current table package, and I just decided to post them for free again.

Self-Extracting Archive (exe) which can be manually unzipped/extracted.

Your EXE link no work Fozzy, and I can't guess whatit should be or I'd just fix it myself

Try it now, I just pasted the wrong URL from my Clipboard, and didn't check it - thanx.

Should be fixed now.

*LOL - Yep - I pasted a partial photobucket url, instead of the mediafire link. (multi-taskin, ldo)

looks like a valid d/l link at least

Obv. I don't need it myself, just noticed the weirdo url containing [IMG] when I mouseovered

i love you fozzy thanks so much for the free cards!

you are so freakin generous it's not even funny... you are very much appreciated!

YW.

I figured it was about time again. Most of my FTP decks were made last summer, and then I started making Stars decks/themes. I have learned quite a few things since making decks for FTP last summer. I just recently made a couple new decks that I am real proud of, but I know they can better.

I am working on re-creating these new cards, with all new software, which I hope will make my new cards noticeably improved. If it works out, I will be re-creating my entire library of decks, tables, player boxes, buttons, etc - completely from scratch. The learning curve is a bit of a delay, but will hopefully be worth it.

As you can see the best option is to use this deck on a black (or close to it) background. For compatibility with Full Tilt Shortcuts program by nanochip it's imperative that you use a table background that's different from the background of the deck. The deck's background RGB values are: 0, 0, 0. And the table background that I am showing in the screenshot is R:05, G:05, B:05. Practically unnoticeable to a naked eye. You can use any other shade of black. In order to use this mod extract the contents of the RAR file into "C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\Elements" folder but make sure you create a back up of all the original images first.

Whoa! These are the most innovative cards i have seen since the Fozzy 5.4 deck. I really love it! Hope you will be doing more of these 'transparant' decks. <333

ps Any chance you will release some other colored versions of this? A darker and deeper version of this one would be awesome imo. With the purple spade change to a hard yellow.

Once upon a time I made a deck with a similar general theme, and quickly forgot all about it. The completely transparent method is rather difficult to pull of well, on FTP.

I really love the concept. Maybe you should look into the idea again fozzy. ^_^
This is my new deck now, thanks yellowbluebus!

ps I took the liberty of changing the pink to grey, hope you dont mind :P

I will eventually, I got a lot of other things on my plate right now for my mods. Got brand new software, and some new ideas and skills. Should be some good stuff in the coming weeks and months, I hope.

I wish Stars had a Full-Card Option for the hole cards, grrrrr.

Well boundaries lead to creative solutions

gl, looking forward to new stuff from you.

Thanks for the kinds words, nhourmess! Unfortunately, true transparency comes with a lot of labor and frustration. At least for me. As far as colors go, I really wanted to go with bright colors that contrasted well on a dark background. I realize that this color combination will not be appealing to everyone. Also, I see that you actually changed the spade color and quite successfully, good job! I'll see if this deck is popular enough to continue in that direction in the future.

You aren't the only one, YBB. That's why I quickly abandoned the theme last summer, when I realized all the limitations of the FTP Client. This would work flawlessly on Stars, but they don't have a "Full-Card Option". This means you have to make an Index on the upper left, and smaller main Indexes, so you can see the card index when your hole cards overlap.

Those are sweet. I wonder what they would look like with the font "sinking in" rather than "popping out"? Maybe the term I'm looking for is "embossed"...

Probably an effect similar to Bar Nuthin's Cubic Deck for Stars:

Is the cardsmall fixed on Dark Gothic yet?
02-11-2008 , 02:20 PM
Pretty sure I fixed it as soon as u told me - let me check if I uploaded the fix to the shop yet.

Yep - Go download a fresh copy of the decks.
