You should ask your question in the NoteCaddy Support Thread.

My guess - the 3bet sample is number of three bets and not number of hands - therefore he doesn't meet the criteria to be coloured.

but this doesnt make sense... notecaddy is integrated in holdem manager and the fact that these two programs doesnt use the same format to display data is ridiculous.

apparently, this software cant filter your 2-9 players stats. you can only get HU stats, 6max or full ring which means 7+ players. this is basically usable for only cash games. thats pretty terrible.

is there any better alternative for color coding players in 9 men SNGS?

thanks.

No it isn't. You understand sample wrong. If the sample is related to the 3Bet stat it's logical it's a sample of opportunities to 3Bet. That's the only sense in which the use of sample make sense with color coding. If a player has had the opportunity to 3Bet once in 30 hands, does that he did 3Bet that one time tell you anything about him?

Doesn't make any sense either. How stat-values define a player has a huge relation with the # of players at the table. If you have a lot of hands on a player HU, would you want his high VPIP because of that taint your color-coding in 9-max SnG's? If you do that's pretty terrible.
