Hey everyone, I was hit by the storm that went through Atlanta (the pre-tornado part, thankfully). As a result, my internet connection has been destoyed. I am at Starbucks trying to get everyone updated. The good news, I've made more progress despite that and I expect a new release in the next few days with some important updates.

Update on this: I have added a number of new stats for HEM including Aggression Factor. I like Aggression Frequency a little better too, but Agg Factor was a bit easier to implement. I also added WTSD, W$SD, BB/100, and related stats. You will receive these in the next update.

Yes, I've added the code for tournament support. Just need to test it. POH should have tourney support in the next update for PT3. HEM support for tourneys will come shortly.,

I had another user with this problem and I believe it has been resolved.

Theme importing/exporting hasn't been implemented yet. In one of my next releases, I am going to include a number of predefined themes to try. If anyone has any they like and would like to share, post or send me a screenshot and and send me the userlayoutcollection.xml file via email (support@pokerobserver.com). If its particularly unique and good, I may even name the theme after your screenname here (no promises!)

Yes, POH is set to automatically detect your settings. I have some users that sucessfully tested on Vista 64, but I'm not sure about Stars. I suspect that something in the file system is causing POH to not read/locate the Stars directory properly. Is the Stars main directory correct in the Preferences?

Not yet. Not sure when I'll get to it. One reason is that PT3 doesn't yet support it. Party support is next -- 2nd tier site support will likely be provided shortly after the release by PT3 (or PEV) of such site support.

I tried PIH 3.3 after a few day vacation. I also tried limiting its speed to slow. It helped a bit on PS, but not enough. I still have lags and one more stoppage of PS.

I'm running on Vista and it won't even open, even when I select Open as Administrator, I also disabled desktop composition and it will not even open... I click the icon as well as the original executable and it pretends like its trying to open for about 3 seconds then just goes back to the normal pointer... nothing happens why?

Because hand histories are written to your hard drive only when you sit in on hands and it is through the hand histories that POH detects who is sitting at your table. There are ways around this limitation which I am working on.

The individual stat property "Show Hero" is actually not activated. Instead, I added a checkbox allowing you to disable all Hero stats. I'm likely going to remove the property from the individual stat, unless people are very interested in showing disabling individual hero stats. Its not difficult to implement such functionality, but I'm not convinced of its value.

I like to display my VPIP, and PFR for a particular session, so that way I get a feel for how others may see my style of play at the moment. At the same time, I dont need my 4bet% displayed.

The new version .3.4 starts using like 90% of CPU and making my full tilt freeze every so often. its happened twice so far in 1.5h. Im on XP and althought with prior versions POH greatly slowed down full tilt, it never actually froze it like today.

I am getting some Lag issues as well. When i try to reload my stack (as i do often) it takes a good couple seconds for PS to register the fact that i clicked on the options button.

It would be great if you notice this again to try to identify the "state" of as many factors as possible. If you are able to duplicate the behavior, that would take me 90% of the way to a fix (its especially hard to fix errors like this when they are very isolated). Things to consider when it happens:

1. How many tables open?
2. Does it occur right after or soon after a hand is finished (this would indicate its in the file reading part of my code)?
3. Are tables minimized or being minimized (theres lots of code dealing with movement of stats and everytime a table is minimized, all the stats and other controls move so any code inefficiency there would create an issue)?

Another things that would be helpful is, if possible, when the CPU usage increases, to try and turn logging on for about 30 seconds and then email me the pohlog.txt file and indicate what was happening during the period during the log.

Thanks.

Update 0.3.5

Just a quick update, mostly intended for those that play on a couple of the table types not previously recognized by POH. No need to update unless you're affected by these changes.

-fixed FTP 6 max limit speed table non-recognition
-added table recognition for Stars 50BB min tables
-Quick Action Panel now retains position upon minimizing
-Added Delete Color Range button

I can answer some of those questions, and will be sure to find the answers to the other next time im playing. I had 6 tables open, tiled on a 1680x1050 monitor. There was no table movement, the only thing that i might have done was clicking on Firefox from the task bar and having that come up over the tables, but i don't think thats when the problem occurred. I'll be sure to remember what i was doing when the cpu usage shoots up next time and to try to turn on logging, but when it happened, i couldn't even right click the POH icon in the taskbar to close it, i had to kill the process. FWIW POH worked normally for the last hour of my session, save a little lag.
