Just a suggestion though, I think that the crowns should only be for the Jack, Queen, and King. I think for the Ace, it'd be cool to have a gold symbol of the suit that is about the same size as the crown on the face cards. Or maybe a gold rocket? What do you think?
Thanks =)

I experimented a little with a rocket, but it just didn't fit in well with the others. I actually googled around searching for an image of a kind of "ball on a stick" that a King often holds in his hand. Don't know its name though.
And my memory of how it looks is too vague.

Will try the cardlogos in gold, thanks for the tip.

I personally dont like bright cardbacks, they distract me. I prefer medium or dark back colors.

Is anyone familiar with the brushed deck that they used to have at tiltbusters ?? They were my original cards before the update and I was 100% content with them.

I just got a new cpu and am looking for some new cards to put on that machine. I have looked through the thread but, since I am cpu challenged if they extracted super easily that would be great.

Personally I use yellow, on a black mod, because then I never get surprised when I try to outbet one opponent on the flop, and realize another guy is in the hand. The yellow is just too eyecatching not to.
Nevertheless, I actually like my lemonbacks =)

What CPU are you on if extracting 300kb is an issue?

I only play up to 4 tables right now and prefer to play on a non black but not too bright mod with non black but not bright cards.

yellow card backs would tilt me so bad.

i meant that it works best for me if i can just click on the mod and it opens in the ftp client. when i have to find files and folders and replace etc.. i mess it up. one reason i love tiltbusters is how easy it is/was to use their mods.

I think you mean a scepter?

Since Aces are also sometimes called "bullets," a gold bullet would be another idea...

Unizp and copy to your /cards directory. Doesn't include cardbacks (you can use your stock ones or other custom ones)

Ah yes, that's true. Since I have played a lot with making cards, I need to access those folders a lot, so I have shortcuts from my desktop, which works for me.

Yes, I wouldn't have time now regardless. HM takes up a fair amount of my day.

I wanted to use your desaturated version, but when I right clicked in Firefox, I didn't have the "save target as" option, so I tried in IE and when I used that option it saved as an XML file. I'm obviously doing it wrong.

This actually ended out pretty damn good. I love the spade especially.
Now this just puts pressure on me to redo the crowns a bit because they look fugly compared to my new gold effect. Oh well, as long as I have the way to do it in my head.

Excellent!

I would definitely like to have this deck when you are done with your final touches. Good work!

I'm just amazed at ones man's trash is another man's treasure!
Some of the decks are also game-dependent, ie large pips are best for PLO/STUD, and no pip cards are best for NLHE. 2pro's deck is probably the best Omaha deck in the thread, although I haven't tried every deck here since the thread is moving so darned fast.

I took the original SVG tables and saved as a simple rasterized PNG and ran the Photoshop Desaturate tool. then saved em back to SVG.

The zip has the 2 SVG files that are a pain to download for some people directly.

I like these a lot too. I think they'd be even better without the gradient/shade thing in the upper right corner. These effects just don't make sense to me in a static 2D environment. I like it clean and simple.

How would yellow spades look with this gold effect though?

EDIT: I think the gold diamond might be placed too high?
