If the new client can reproduce my AI > PNG chips, why can't they let us use 6 or 7 sizes of PNG cards? There is no more longer a need for that stupid black framing to overcome the semi-transparency issue the old client had.

I don't mind converting decks, but I don't really want to post them all, particularly if its a deck you purchased. I don't think its fair to post a purchased deck for everyone to download, particularly if the creators are going to end up doing this themselves. I don't see any issues converting them for personal use if you purchased it in the past.

Guys I need some help getting mods to work please.

The day b4 the upgrade I had just learned how to install a new deck on FTP and loved it...for all of one day.

Since, I have tried for literally hours, downloading, unzipping, replacing and or cut and pasting into existing ftp common files, all to no avail, nothing has worked.

When I copy/paste into the existing ftp file it does not ask me to approve an overwrite, so apparently something is off and really would appreciate some help.

You have a few options:

1. Download one of the many nice free .svg decks that people have made and posted in this thread. There are also some ones for sale in this thread as well.

3. Convert your old Cards3.png deck into individual .svg files. If you want to go this route, PM me and I can help.

The card rank in the upper left corner, on the yellow spades, is why I use a black border on my text. I only play with yellow spades, and w/o a border on the text it washes out in lighter shades of yellow.

5$ on FTP for anyone who can link me an ALL-BLACK CLASSIC with larger CHIP COUNTS? One where the table is the same color as the background, so appears to be no table at all.

I have posted this in several different places now, without a reply.

This might not have anything to do with the new update, and I will post this somewere else in that case. I am having problems downloading the FT client to a new computer, I keep getting this error message:

Is it no longer possible to have more than 6 backgrounds for classic and 6 for racetrack? I tried adding more to the backgrounds.ini file but no joy. I seem to remember that there was a limit before......but it was more than 6?

Sorry, no. The only part of that theme that is mine is the unfinished chips mod. The theme/background is something made by Bar Nuthin for DC, that I just got finished porting to the new software.

You both seem to have much better luck with porting the lores version than I have. Me, and many of my customers, would be pretty happy with that quality of conversion, for my older decks.

After Googling for "setup.cpp 135," this error is most commonly due to the download not completing, even though you may have received a download completed message. Try downloading a fresh version of the software from www.fulltiltpoker.com. It should be around 32 MB.

If that doesn't help, other people got around that error by temporarily disabling their antivirus/firewall. Someone else though it involved running as an administrator, but i don't think that would be an issue on XP. Still, it could hurt to try giving the current account Administrator privileges to see if that changes anything.

That does include a change in which i replaced the urlprefix for FinalTable with Dark, since i hate the Final Table background. I haven't played any MTTs recently, so i don't know if that change was sufficient.

Regardless, try adding the additional entries to the corresponding Layout.xml file in addition to backgrounds.ini and see what happens.
