Can I tell the software to switch out a table, in addition to (or preferably in lieu of) a background image?

Thoughts?
I've tried to accomplish this with no success for solid tables (like Gibson)

obviously it would be quite easy with the semi transparent tables like Riviera, where the background is determining the felt colors and logos

Bar,

I vaguely (but not sure) remembering you saying that your testers prefered not to mix the pod with their PT/HEM. But have you ever tinkered with making a grid type pod?

yeah, making the pods is not difficult. matching up to someone's HUD preference is the tough part

also, if your doing it for a Classic view mod, you have to lower the level of the table image so that it appears behind the upper pods - or use a transparent table and incorporate a table image into the backgrounds

You're on it now - keep going

if you come up with a layout you like for FTP, I'll help you mimic it in a stars no-image format

unless of course you've already got that handled

I've never tried modding stars to be honest. I've tried a few FTP tables but this is probably the first thing that I'm going to try to see through.

I've added/fixed some shadow issues that I had on my first attempt and tried out some simple, basic pods. I just need to fix some issues and I'll put up a preview to see if people think it's worth sticking with.

***Preview***

What's the general opinion on this theme so far? I had to borrow a background out of some tiltbuster mods that I've purchased to see what it would look like with the right backgrounds.

Things to do..

-Backgrounds
-Buttons
-Maybe better pods?
-Notes

I've made 4 different felt colours so far too, Grey, Green, Red, Blue.

What else should I do guys?

Looks pretty good, sheepmoose. Black buttons would definitely fit well. Maybe the notes where it makes a color ring around the pod like stars does. Saw a recent tiltbuster mod had that...wish mine did :/

I was thinking about that, maybe something simple like a diode of some sort. I'm unsure about it though.

I checked this card fix better but it still isn't works with table ninja Now I get less errors in the log files, it only fixed the "ERROR: Saw just 2 cards!" problem.

Do I change the white dot in the cards bigger? Any solution? I post a screenshot. I tried using the same mod that this image only changing the cards and table ninja works fine:

sometime the other modded things (buttons, slider, ...) can interfere with TableNinja.

I only use custom cards (with that white dot added), pods, timer and background, but not changing the default buttons, betting slider etc, and TN works perfect.

I tried the same mod but only changing the cards, to set default FT cards and Table Ninja worked. I think that the white dot isn't in the correct place.

the dot is in the very correct place.
the default ft cards do not need the dot to work fine with tn.
if you use everything as default from ft but only changing the cards to whatever cards you want and add the white dot, tn will work!
i do that, and like i said i even also modify the pods, timer and backgrounds and still tn works.

Try making a bigger white dot using the layout.xml edit.

Do I edit layout.xml instead every card file? Do I write the same code? Do I use radious 4?

I have never used that code myself so I forget the specifics of the code. Based on those questions, you probably need to just edit the code you already added by increasing the radius of the white dot.

I'm not sure if I'm even going to release it. Depends how it turns out.

Hi, I have small problem with original lores cards from FTP folder..

Is here any chance to set them a bit bigger? Thx
***New Full Tilt Mods Post-Update*** Quote

Did you just change the contents of lowres cards and normalres cards? Because the lowres cards are smaller and would need to be resized before any changes between these folders.

you are not editing the Layout.xml file

you are opening each card file in a text editor and editing the xml associated with the svg files

Sorry. Did I mention I had never done it or looked at that post in a long time?

Yes, I'm doing this; I used the Notepad++. Is it correct? Is there any different method? I try the bigger dot solution with radious 4 when I go to my home tonight.

I'd like to see the note color as that gradient you have there across the pod and not as a solid color but just the way it is now, a light reflex effect. It's one of those things that "look" awesome when you picture in your mind.

I think you should go for that pod style based theme, clean, slick, high contrast but easy on the eyes.

(It could turn out a little bit like 2pro's PitchBlack, but... maybe not)
