Multi tabling problem on FTP

I'll preface this by admitting that im a total techno newb.

On my new computer im finding that when MTing on FTP i cant stop the action at another table from turning off the popup stats (PAHUD) on another table. I.e, it seems that each time a new action occurs on any table, it become the active section of my screen.

Could anybody explain to me how i can prevent this from happening please?
