Mouse Scrolling Problem

My mouse seems to have suddenly stopped scrolling (middle wheel) when I am in the lobby. It scrolls fine in ALL other software I have, except PokerStars. I even tried reprogamming it. It still won't work on PS's and that is the ONLY place it doesn't scroll.
Does anyone else have that problem? Or know of a fix? It's driving me crazy since it has to have something to do with PS, or it wouldn't work in other software... and it does work perfect.
Hoping one of the techies on hardware might have a clue. I even went into the section of my programmable mouse and dedicated the wheel to scroll SPECIFICALLY in PS software... still won't scroll in the lobby.
